We have PINK!!!
My new favorite color is definitely PINK!!
We got the call this morning, we have our pink appointment and we're heading to Guatemala to bring home our son! We leave Saturday, July 8th, they will bring the baby to us on Sunday sometime, then we have our Embassy appointment on Monday the 10th. We then wait for them to process Cameron's Visa which we can pick up Tuesday afternoon, and we'll fly home on Wednesday!
Whew, I've been on the phone most of the morning coordinating everything but we've got it mostly figured out! Thank goodness I had off work today and tomorrow, we have so much to get ready! I'm off to make more phone calls and start packing! My son is coming home!!!

Oh Kristin I am so excited for you! Hooray for PINK!! The prettiest color in adoption!!! Such wonderful wonderful news....can't wait to hear all about the trip...can't wait to see pics of your happy famiy TOGETHER forever...

I am still in shock now that he is coming home. It seemed like such a long wait, and then all in one day, it's like, here we come for ya' Cameron.

Thanks everyone! Yes, I'm kind of in shock myself! We knew it was coming fast but then when you actually have the date it's just crazy! Luckily I've been getting ready for this for 3 weeks now so all I really have to do is pack...which is the part the stresses me the most! We brought way too much last time but I don't want to bring not enough this time so I have to find a balance I guess! Anyway...back to it! We leave in less than 4 days!!

Listen to me carefully. Pack a change of clothes for you and the baby in your carry on (actually - do a few for the baby) as well as any essentials (medicine, tooth brush, tooth paste, etc). If they lose your luggage (which happened to us), you will have clothes to get by with.
Just remember - just about anything you need can be bought down there so don't panic if you forgot something.
